HIGH FITNESS has teamed up with fellow instructor and candidate for Woman of the Year Amy Crockett to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in ONE GIANT FUNDRAISING EFFORT.
Each Year HIGH fitness will choose one organization for their charity of the year. We encourage all instructors to come together for ONE day to raise money for ONE amazing cause! We know what an impact the #highfitsociety can have for good and we can’t wait to see what you all can do. We want to really focus on making our charity events meaningful and impactful and together we can make this happen.
This year we will be coming together on SATURDAY APRIL 14th for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
We ask that if you are able and willing that you make your class that day a part of our GIANT fundraising effort. Can you imagine the impact we can have in just one day all over the United States and Canada?!
SO HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
-Email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know you want your class to take part in our special day.
-Next week we will be giving you marketing materials that you can use for your social media channels to advertise for your special class, these will be located in the assets portion of the website.
-Everyone wear RED the day of your event or if you attend another class participating in the fundraising efforts.
-Team up with other instructors to make it a combined effort.
-Don’t teach on Saturdays, but still want to be a part of this? Choose a different class during the week of the 14th to donate proceeds.
-After Saturday April 14th send the amount raised to VENMO: HIGH-FITNESS or PAYPAL: email@example.com 100% of what you raise will be given to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
-Make sure to tag us in your photos and use the hashtag #highgivesback in order for us to feature you and see your event in action.
-Did we mention that ALL MONEY WE RAISE for this campaign will be matched by another corporate sponsor.
*TOP THREE INSTRUCTORS TO RAISE THE MOST MONEY WILL BE GIVEN $100 in shop credit at www.hightfitness.com*
WHY THE LEUKEMIA AND LYMPHOMA SOCIETY??
Here is a message from fellow instructor and Woman of the Year Amy Crockett about her personal story and how you can help!
Take it away Amy…
My name is Amy Crockett, I am an instructor in Salt Lake City, Utah. I know cancer has affected the lives of every person in one way or another. All of us know someone who has battled or is in the midst of battling cancer. I myself have experienced it on a very personal level; my courageous father lost his battle with cancer 2 years ago. After watching his heroic fight, it inspired me to find out what I can do to help fight this gruesome disease.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), founded in 1949, is the world’s largest health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. LLS has funded groundbreaking treatments and cures (yes, you are reading that correctly, THEY ARE FINDING CURES) that are vital to treating blood cancers and many other forms of cancer. They work tirelessly to improve the quality of life of patients and their families dealing with this difficult diagnosis. Since its founding, survival rates have doubled, tripled, even quadrupled!
There are many reasons to be proud to support the efforts of LLS. For instance, approximately 40% of new cancer therapies approved by the FDA between 2000 and 2015 were first approved for blood cancer patients. And many of these LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now approved to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers (which my dad was diagnosed with), and noncancerous diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases. They’re even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers, and noncancerous diseases such as diabetes and lupus.
Every nine minutes someone dies from a blood cancer. Let’s change those odds together. Everyone wins when cancer loses!

Are you dropping dead of happiness because of how much fun the killer Britney #highsongoftheweek is?!
Here are a few tips to help you rock it to perfection!
⚡️Always land wide! You start wide, land wide in the plank, and bring your feet up wide from the plank! This tip will really help your participants nail it!
⚡️Your feet only cross when you are standing! Do not cross your feet when you are on the ground, they just come together to touch in the plank!
⚡️The timing….. feet cross on 1, feet wide on 2, hands to floor on 3, jump back to plank 4, feet together on 5, back to wide on 6, feet to hands on 7, stand up on 8. Please take a look at the video below for a refresher.
Shinin’, shinin’ oh you so fine🎶
